This Kitchen Renovation turned out even better than we expected!
Just look at the Before picture.
When I first met this family they weren't sure if they should remove the wall that divided the kitchen from the sitting room or keep it to save on the overall cost of the project. Thankfully they agreed that the cost was worth it to have an open concept with a huge island and a wonderful Great Room.
The beautiful Mahogany Cabinets add a great deal of warmth to this room with the dark Caviar Stain and Vertical Grain. The floating shelves break things up and create a focal point around the window on the sink wall. The Oven wall features a Wolf M Series Transitional Double Oven and tons of drawer storage.
This Granite is the perfect contrast to the dark Cabinetry, the massive island has a Wolf 36" Transitional Induction Cooktop paired with a Wolf 15" Transitional Electric Cooktop and a Wolf 45 Downdraft Ventilation System with a Remote Blower. This set up gives her the capacity she needs to cook for her large family and friends.
The Refrigeration is now where the old pantry cabinets were and feature Sub Zero Integrated Columns, 30" Refer and 30" Freezer with a small pantry cabinet to the left. The additional drawers and upper cabinets more than make up for the old pantry cabinets and the cabinets on the wall that we removed.
Many thanks to Mountainlanddesign for referring this client to us and to Roth Living for all of the support you offered during the process and for your continued help with training on their new high tech appliances, and thanks to Russell & Co. Construction for removing the wall and doing everything else that was necessary to make this kitchen renovation happen.
